We have the experience and equipment to get your job done!

Jesus asked "Why do you call Me Lord Lord and not do the things I say?" (Luke 6:46)

Notice that Jesus expects His followers to do what He commanded them to do, or asked why even call Him Lord. He also said that not everyone who calls Him Lord will enter the kingdom of Heaven, but only those who do the will of the Father (Matt 7:24). Doesn't this challenge the teaching we find from many pulpits today which assures us a place in God's kingdom if we merely "believe" in the "finished work done on the cross"? Do we truly trust what Jesus did on the cross if we neglect everything He taught?

Scripture says the grace of God that brings salvation appears to teach all men to stop living ungodly lives, and instead to live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world. Seeing as we have so many warnings in scripture against being deceived by false teachers, wouldn't it be wise on our part to take heed to those warnings, and compare what pastors say with what Jesus and the apostles taught, and if they don't match, to forsake the pastor and embrace God's Word?
